Board & Train

I do take in Board & Train dogs. I have taken in puppies to get them started on the right foot of being great dogs, behavioral cases that include biting, and everything in-between. Please note, due to recovering from my leg injury, I am not accepting large dogs with behavioral issues at this time.

Board & Train dogs receive at least two working sessions per day. They live in my home with me and our animals. They travel with me to wherever we may be going or doing for the day. They learn kennel manners, as I am a firm believer in crate training.   We work on basic handling and grooming.

You will receive a training log with notes and videos of what your dog has worked on each day during their stay with me. For best results, I like to coordinate lessons with the family as well to go over what the dog has been learning and how to continue with that work once the dog goes home.

Due to the amount of time and commitment that goes into Board and Trains, I usually only have one dog in for a Board and Train at a time so I can devote my attention to them. Due to this, there may be a delay in when I can take on a new Board and Train if there is already a dog in my care or scheduled to come into my care.

If you are considering a Board & Train, please reach out to me with more information about what you are struggling with and what you are looking to accomplish. I can also provide additional examples of my work.

Pricing varies depending on what we will be working on, the length of stay, and other factors, but, for a general ballpark, run approximately $50 per day. Puppies under 4 months of age run around$35 per day.
